Federer to Face Dominik Hrbaty in Opening Wimbledon 2008 Match

Roger Federer will face Dominik Hrbaty from Slovakia in his openning Wimbledon 2008 match. According to the draw, Federer will not face Rafael Nadal in any match besides the Wimbledon 2008 mens final, if the Spaniard and the Swiss make it that far in the Wimbledon 2008 Championships. Federer has not lost on grass in 59 matches. It has been calculated that Federer could meet Novak Djokovic in the semifinal of the the 2008 Wimbledon Championships.

If Roger Federer has it “easy”, then Venus Williams has it extremely difficult. If Venus makes it through the first week of Wimbledon 2008, she would have to play Jelena Jankovic in the quarterfinals and Maria Sharapova in the semifinals, Wimbledon 2008-not an easy task.

Ana Ivanovic, the current world number one, will play Rossana De Los Rios of Paraguay in her opening match at Wimbledon 2008.
