Federer fails in Rome Masters
Roger Federer was beaten by unseeded Czech Radek Stepanek on Friday at the Rome Masters in what looked like a dismal performance by Federer. Stepanek is set to play Australian Open champion Novak Djocovic in th semi finals.
Federer has been struggling on clay court for some time now and with the French Open around the corner, everyone will be hoping for a better performance from the World No. 1.
Federer managed to lead the 1st set 4-0 but failed to force any break points. Stepanek wrapped the tie break 7-4 with an ace as Federer lost a set for the 1st time in a tournament.
The rest of the Match all went downhill from there for federer and he could not capatalise on any important points.
